Established on 7th June 2010, APCA Power Private Limited is a joint venture formed by Asia Pacific
Communication Associates Pvt. Ltd. in partnership with Mr. Vivek Chaudhri. Its naissance marks the
foray of the company into the area of power generation.
Serves as an investment vehicle for investments across Asia and Africa
Formed a joint venture in 2012 December with a German company ib vogt GmbH, a solar energy sector company based in Berlin to create a company nv vogt Singapore Pte. Ltd. which was responsible for developing assets worth $200 million over an 8 year period in South & South East Asia. This company was sold to ib vogt GmbH in 2019.
Our Commitment to Sustainable Energy
APCA Power Private Limited is a subsidiary formed by Asia-Pacific Communication Associates Pvt.
Ltd. for the purpose of developing renewable energy. The Government of Gujarat has announced a
Solar Policy 2009 that aims at tapping the vast potential for solar energy in the state and
transforming it into an “integrated solar generation hub” of the country. It has received an allocation
of 5 MW Solar PV plant (“Project”) in Gujarat under the Gujarat State Solar Program and has signed a
25 year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) on November, 2010 with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd
(GUVNL) and PGVC respectively at a tariff of INR 9.98/kWh for the first 12 years and a tariff of INR
7/kWh for the remaining 13 years.
